About Karen Meislik

Karen Meislik is a certified matrimonial attorney and a partner at Meislik & Levavy. Since 1985, she has been representing clients with compassion and level-headedness to reduce the emotional toll that often accompanies divorce and parenting issues.

Karen is a skilled negotiator whose experience allows her to see issues through the court's eyes and make an honest assessment of every situation. Her advice is honest, caring, and based on more than 20 years of experience in matrimonial law.

Recently, Karen was honored to receive the 2004 Essex County Bar Association Family Law Attorney Achievement Award.

Karen is approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a mediator, enabling her to help clients come to a resolution without the tremendous expense of litigation.

Karen volunteers for the Women's Resource Center and the Ask a Lawyer program of the New Jersey Council of Jewish Women. She is a working member of the Essex County Early Settlement Panel and works with St. Barnabas Hospital Hospice.

She is a partner in the firm of Meislik & Levavy and is the only certified matrimonial lawyer in the firm.
